On its second album for the Vagrant label, COME BACK TO YOU, the punk-pop act Down to Earth Approach offers up a set of refreshingly straightforward emo tunes. Wisely avoiding "screamo" dramatics and self-conscious experimentation, these lads from western New York State charm listeners with their earnest, hook-driven approach, as best revealed on the harmony-laden "Waiting" and the urgent anthem "See You."
