Summary:
An American pop singer rising to fame in the fifties and sixties, Andy Williams has performed with a host of famous artists including Bobby Darin, Ray Charles, Elton John, Ella Fitzgerald, Simon and Garfunkel, Mama Cass and Michael Jackson. During the 1960s, Williams became one of the most popular vocalists in the country and was signed to what was at that time the biggest recording contract in history. He also had his own popular TV variety show from 1962 - 71 and has recorded 18 gold and three platinum certified albums. This DVD shows him performing live from Royal Albert Hall Dec 11, 1978 accompanied by the London Symphony Orchestra to a packed audience during 1978. Andy s smooth and distinct voice makes it two unforgettable performances.
