About Grading  

M = MINT...I rarely use this grade. The record should be sealed, unopened..or open but never played. The cover should look nearly new..  Very few records will make the Mint Grade.

NM = Near Mint....No scratches. Never played or played but handled with care. Maybe a few very light surface marks from the sleeve/cover. A great record for most collectors.

VG+ = Very Good Plus...Played but taken care of. May have some light scratches or scuffs but should not affect the sound quality.

VG = Very Good...A nice record but it WILL have some scratches and some surface noise. Should not skip. Still a nice one to have until that gem comes along.
