Salsoul Orchestra Christmas Jollies 12" Vince MontanaGood dance oriented Christmas music has always been hard to come by - I know good is a subjective term, but I can think of only a few - RuPaul's x-mas album, the Thunderpuss remix of Christina Aguilera's "The Christmas Song", David Morales' remix of Mariah Scarey's "Joy to the World" and this EP. Produced, conducted and arranged by Vincent Montana Jr. (a genius) the record conatain disco versions of the following tracks: Little Drummer Boy @ 4:57, Sleigh Ride @ 3:03, Silent Night (Traditional) @ 1:05, Merry Christmas All (penned by Montana and Andy Kozak) @ 3:28, Christmas Time (also penned by Montana and Ronnie James and Janice Gugliuzza) @ 3:59, There's Someone Knocking (also penned by Montana and Jim Butz) @ 2:30 and on the flip, The Christmas Medley @ 12:08 and the New Years Medley @ 6:46.
