Hello to all slot car collectors and racers. For those collecting the older Tycos, here's one for you. Here for auction is a 1960 Tyco Chevy Corvette in candy red and white. This is Tyco #8506 produced in 1976 and 1977! This is the early version with side pipe and blower on the hood. This example has a shiny candy red body with no breaks or cracks. Perfect windshield posts and uncut wheel wells. It has strong paint and graphics with outstanding white side coves. Shiny chrome especially on the front grille with just a small amount of wear to the chrome on the blower and side pipes. Comes on a complete Tyco HP chassis that runs fine. And it has white wheels that really set this car off. If you don't have this early version Corvette in your collection, now is the time to buy this one. A word of note. The above HP chassis is 30+ years old and did run when touched to a transformer. However, it may need disassembly, parts replaced, and some oil for maximum performance. Low opening bid!
