If you are a John Sandford fan, then you have read his Lucas Davenport novels.  In the Davenport novels a character by the name of Virgil Flowers was introduced, and he is a one-of-a-kind detective!  He is commonly referred to as "that *&%$#)@! Flowers!  Yet, if he's on your trail and your the law breaker, it's only a matter of time before he gets you!

Lucas Davenport sends Virgil to investigate a strange murder but they continue to occur while Virgil is there.  The story is fast paced and and exciting ride!
