Up for auction is a very nice hardbound copy of The Literary Cat. It's a collection of poems, stories, anecdotes and sketches about cats by such writers as William Butler Yeats, T.S. Elliot, Theodore Roosevelt, Lewis Carroll, John Keats, Mark Twain, J.R.R. Tolkein, Ogden Nash Colette and many others. Lots of wonderful illustrations from artists like Mar Chagall, Leonardo da Vinci, Eugene Delacrois, Auguste Renoir and Andrew Wyeth.

The book is in like-new condition and appears never to have been read. The dust jacket is in good condition, but wear to the top and bottom edges, and a small tear to the bottom-front edge. Please email me with any questions about the book's condition.

A delightful book! Would make a great gift to any lover of cats, literature or art.
