Celestron Comet Catcher Modified for 2" EP's Telescope

 A very nice celestron Comet Catcher, modified to take a 2" EP......  With a quality widefield Eyepiece the views are stunning.  Possible to get over a 4 degree field.....

Modification was accomplished by attachingng a plywood support and a focal extender to the existing mounting plate. I am including a 2" to 1.25" adapter for the eyepiece....  A truly unique scope.  I did not Drill or dremel out the mounting plate which passes about a 34mm light cone.  Not an issue with most Widefield eyepieces and my 17 Ethos worked great, this eyepiece gave a 3.4 degree field, 30x and a 4.7mm exit pupil, just about perfect in my opinion.  70% more light than a 4" F5 refractor, and a fraction of the price.  Only reason I am selling is went with a slightly larger scope for my widefield, but same idea.

Scope has normal finger prints which are easily cleaned, and a very minor dent.  Collimation is on, but I didnt centerspot or clean the primary.
