Lot of 2 Vintage Catholic Religious GREETING CARDS These are wonderful! They have the great detailing from years gone by. I'd guess that they were from the 1950's. They are in perfect condition and have not been filled out. They measure 4" x 6 1/2" and include envelopes. The 1st card has a pretty embossed picture with pink roses. It has has a nice glitter/sparkle effect. The front reads: On this Joyful Occasion The inside has a bluebird and more roses and it reads: On this Joyful Occasion with fond hope we pray That Mary, Our Mother, will smile on this day, And into each hour send the light of her love To bring down God's Blessings from Heaven above (would be suitable for Graduation, Birthday, Wedding, Anniversary, etc..)
The 2nd one has a lovely embossed roses with butterflies and a scalloped edge. The front of the card reads: Thinking of You today The inside of the card has a bouquet of red roses and reads: Just a little greeting to help brighten up your day, and let you know you're thought of in the Warmest kind of way!
These are very special and I know that the recipient will really appreciate and treasure them. You can't buy ones like this at Hallmark!
