BARE ESCENTUALS EYECOLOR DIFFERENCE:

Eyeshadows are opaque with a creamy, matte finish 

Glimpses fall between eyeshadows and glimmers; a little less shimmer than a glimmer

Glimmers have the most glow of the three and can be soft and translucent when worn dry or opaque and high-sheen when worn wet (foiled)

Foiling is a technique that involves applying bareMinerals Glimmer with a dampened brush for a high sheen, "foiled" eye effect. It creates a lustrous, light-reflective glow to your eyes when layered over or under other shadows.
