This auction is for the first printing of The Song of Middle Earth:  JRR Tolkien’s Themes, Symbols and Myth by David Harvey, published by George Allen & Unwin in 1985.

 

The book is a little dusty on top, else F/NF with no marks, tears or inscriptions.

 

The dj has slight damage (water?) at the top (visible in pictures), else no marks, tears or inscriptions.  Tips are square.    It is now in a removable plastic protector with the original price of 10.95 British Pounds on the front flap ( I don’t know how to make that L sign for the British Pound).
