This one is a 1863 INDIAN HEAD PENNY. I think this one is has A/U details. Full rails & "LIBERTY." Lots of bold details and plenty of eye appeal! I can make out the diamonds on the ribbon end! A few marks. Although the obverse appears to have been processed somehow this coin still has plenty of eye appeal. Check out the picture. I think I have zoomed in close enough for you to grade yourself! Civil War Era production! Good looking coin! Thanks for looking and have fun bidding!

Grading is very subjective. I list my grading opinion of the basic grade and mention any noticeable distractions. I do not micro-grade or net grade. I guarantee all my items to be authentic unless otherwise mentioned. I do not guarantee grade. Although you are the final judge, returns for differences in grading opinions are not allowed unless a prior agreement is made before bidding. I do not offer auction items on approval.

Through our acquisition pursuits we have found that the marketplace is filled with a multitude of very nice coins for collectors. Through our vigilant acquisiton efforts we have noticed that many coins in the marketplace have been very carefully conserved, processed, cleaned, etc. and has become very difficult to make the determination. We have come to the conclusion that just about every coin has probably been tampered with in the past one way or another, especially the bright and shiny ones. All bidders should consider this statement when bidding. If we question the coin we will give our indication on the originality of the coin but it is only our opinion and make no warranty of the coin's originality and make no warranty as such or guarranty of third party grading. Raw coins have their own inherit risks. If you prefer a grading guarantee you should consider a third party graded item. Grading companies have their own seperate independent guarantee. Also, if you want certified items or wish to have them certified I suggest you purchase items that are already certified.
