From what I gather, this is a very rare book published in 1867 by the Government Printing Office. It is a 100% original period piece in attic fresh, untouched condition. It is quite large and heavy having 930 pages! The spine has some loss as shown and there is some staining on the pages. Other than that, it has average age wear as to be expected. The binding is nice and tight. This book is a wonderful candidate for restoration! The content is amazing with letters from all around the globe. These letters are true heartfelt condolences for the loss of an incredible man. If only our world neighbors thought of our great country like this today.... Anyway, this book is a fantastic estate find that will make someone very happy. A great piece to restore and donate to your favorite library or make it the pinnacle of your Civil War or Lincoln collection. Offered here with low opening bid and NO RESERVE!
