Welcome to my 99 cent sale, I must clean out some shelves, tired of looking at these books. If they aren't sold for this cheap, off they go to the library~ This auction is for a book entitled "The Young Man's Friend: containing admonitions for the erring, cousel for the tempted, encouragement for the desponding, and hope for the fallen." It is written by Daniel C. Edd and published by Andrew F. Graves, Boston, 1868. Book is 268 pages. All pages are free from any writing, dirt, markings, soil, torn or loose pages. The boards are green with goldish lettering that is worn/ faded but readable. From the preface: The publication of this volume originated in a desire felt by the author to do something for the moral improvement of the young men of our nation. Never were the young such objects of interests, such creatures of power, such voices of influence, as now. (hmmm...moral improvement in 1868, can you imagine, this author is probalby turning in his grave at what goes on now)...
For 99 cents, that's the best I am going to do for now, email with questions. From a smoke free home, I am now shipping internationally, please email for rates.
