Although an item may be monogrammed, there are many different ways that you could personalize it on your own. Here are a few of the things that I have done or have seen done:
  • -Carefully remove name with cuticle scissors or a seam ripper. Re-monogram new name over where the old one was.
  • -Buy large iron-on or sew-on letters on place directly over the monogram. Easy and cheap to do, plus you don’t have to remove the old monogram.
  • -Cross stitch the name on another piece of fabric and sew that fabric on directly over old monogram.
  • -Buy a thick ribbon and sew over old monogram. Place iron-on, sew-on, or stick on letters directly on ribbon.
  • I am sure that there are many other ways, but these are just a few ideas.
