This machine has been serviced by my Pfaff dealer and is ready to go to a new home. The 7570 is the last of the Pfaff machines that was made in Germany with German engineering. They are becoming harder to find, since owners do not part with them easily.

The machine and the embroidery unit are in their own cases and will be shipped separately to avoid breakage due to the weight of the box.

This is also the foremost reason why Pfaff 7570 is still around and is being sold in excellent working condition. It is also one of the popular hand-me-downs of mothers to their daughters or grandmothers to their grandkids.

2. The dual feed produces clean stitches.
The Pfaff 7570 sewing machine is equipped with a dual-feed walking foot that can produce clean and uniform stitches all throughout the fabric. Moreover, this tool can also work on every type of fabric that you have in mind. It can handle different kinds of fabric weight very well-from wool, garment leather, denim jeans, and silk, to name a few.

3. The 7570 sewing machine is perfect for all kinds of sewers.
Whether you're a quilter or a dressmaker, you can count on the Pfaff 7570 to do the job for you. You can create different layers of fabric without any problem at all. They don't slip easily because of the dual feed. There are several stitches that you can combine or modify, depending on your preference.

Working on your embroidery projects doesn't cost you a lot of headache. The package contains around 30 cards, which you can then insert into the sewing machine. You no longer have to squint your eyes when you're working with your 7570 sewing machine from Pfaff. The machine has the capacity to thread itself. You just need to place the spool in its right place and press the appropriate button. It will only be a matter of seconds before you can start on your sewing machine.

Well, I wasn't much of a sewer, hardly a seamstress, but for some reason this Pfaff 7570 just caught my attention at the sewing center...but so did it's price!

The base price of the machine is about $3500, there is an optional embroidery unit but that adds another $800 to the cost of the machine - as you can see this is a serious investment and something you shouldn't just buy on impulse.

Of course I just had to have the embroidery unit, that's what made the machine fun. My husband wasn't too thrilled with spending that much so that's when the search began! I found a used 7570 on ebay (http://www.ebay.com for those who aren't familar with this site)! The light went on, this was my machine! I purchased it for a little less than half the retail price...which made me a happy camper, I mean sewer.

I immediately fell in love with it. The embroidery is so easy to do compared to other machines I've seen. You simply put the card into the machine (there are about 30 cards you can buy from your Pfaff dealer, these run approximately $125 per card and contain about 14 designs on each card), select which design you will embroider, the machine tells you which size hoop to use (either 80 or 120), hoop your shirt, towel, etc. then click the hoop on to the embroidery unit. Each time there is a thread change the machine stops and tells you thread color change. Changing out the thread takes about 30 seconds. I put a stabilizer behind my design and when the design is done you just rip it right off. You get a next to if not equal to professional embroidery look. They have software available called PC Designer (about $300 I beleive) and you can download designed off the internet or design your own! I have found some great designs at http://www.amazingdesigns.com and they are simple to download onto your own blank card.

I love the dual feed foot - makes sewing a quilt, etc. so nice and easy. You get a nice even stitch, it feeds both sides of the fabric thru so there is no bunching up when quilting. Very easy to thread the machine. Controls are easy - just push the button and it's done (this machine is like a little computer, all digital). Has over 500 stitches built in and just endless "feet" for everything you can think of are available (1/4" foot, binding foot, ruffle, etc).

This is a machine that will last for years and years (it's made in Germany and is solidly build), I don't feel it will be outdated soon.
