Season 1
A love story in reverse: How I Met Your Mother is a fresh new comedy about Ted (Josh Radnor) and how he fell in love. When Ted's best friends Marshall (Jason Segel) and Lilly (Alyson Hannigan) decide to tie the knot it sparks the search for his own Miss Right. Helping him in his quest is his bar-hopping "wing-man" Barney (Neil Patrick Harris), a confirmed bachelor with plenty of wild schemes for picking up women. Ted's sites are set on the charming and independent Robin (Cobie Smulders), but destiny may have something different in mind. Told through a series of flashbacks, Ted recalls his single days, the highs and lows of dating and the search for true love.

Season 2
This multiple Emmy winner stars Josh Radnor as Ted Mosby, a bachelor who gets a wakeup call when his best friend Marshall (Jason Segal) announces his plans to marry his longtime girlfriend. Told in flashback, the story follows Ted as he sets about finding his perfect match, armed with the less-than-reliable advice of his friend Barney (Neil Patrick Harris, DOOGIE HOWSER, M.D.). When he meets Robin (Cobie Smulders), he's sure he's found the one, but somehow, things don't seem to be going as planned. The romantic adventures and pitfalls continue with this complete set of episodes from the show's second season.

Season 3
Though HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER has the look of a traditional, multi-camera sitcom, this comedy has all the fun and smarts of fellow critical darlings 30 ROCK and ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT. Told via a giant flashback, the twist-filled series is narrated from the perspective of Ted Mosby (the unreliable, disembodied voice of Bob Saget) in the year 2030 as he tells his daughter and son how he met their mother more than 20 years ago. Young Ted (Josh Radnor) is inspired by the romance of his roommate Marshall (FORGETTING SARAH MARSHALL's Jason Segel) and Lily (BUFFY's Alyson Hannigan), and he decides to embark on his own search for love. Aided in his quest by wingman Barney 'Have you met Ted?' Stinson (Neil Patrick Harris), Ted looks all over New York City for the future Mrs. Mosby. As season three begins, Robin (Cobie Smulders) returns home from Argentina, and she finds a few new men to help her move past her romance with Ted. For her ex, his normally fun-filled friendship with Barney is in trouble when Barney does the unthinkable: he breaks the Bro Code. Meanwhile, Marshall and Lily almost miss the chance to land their dream apartment in the Dowisetrepla neighborhood thanks to Lilly's compulsive shopping habit.
