Scutted-out med students and exhausted interns have no time to waste studying for steps 2 and 3. That`s where this book comes in. This book is authored by house staff training in major fields: IM, FM, Surg, OBGYN, PEDS, Psych, Neuro, Derm and Rads. However, in contrast to most review books, this book is targeted in each chapter toward clinicians WHO ARE NOT GOING INTO THAT FIELD OF MEDICINE. Thus, FM is written for surgeons, OBGYN is written for psychiatrists, IM for pediatricians etc. It has many relevant pictures and tables that are easy to understand.

This book is a concise review, broad in content, but lacking extensive detail, so jar your memory of testable concepts you long ago learnt and forgot.

The book is 3rd edition, has some highlights, but in good condition.

This was one of my favorite books for USMLE 2 and 3 review. You will not regret when you buy this book and see the same concepts on exam.
