• VERIFYING NETWARE AND IP SERVER REACHABILITY AND OPERATION
  In Novell and IP environments, access to the server for file storage and printer resources is critical. Armed with the FrameScope, you can rapidly determine:

  2. If the server or printer is reachable from the user's wall jack given the current performance level of the network.
  3. If there is a frame type configuration incompatibility between the client and server.

  FrameScope quickly scans the network from the user's wall-jack to find all local servers, in the process verifying physical, data link, and network layer integrity of all elements in the data path as well as displaying server configuration parameters.
