The product is an elastic / adjustable compression wrap with removable & reusable cold / hot gel pack. The gel pack can be used for cold and heat therapy, which is recognized as an excellent medical treatment for the minor injuries, helping to relieve pain, aches and swelling due to daily workout, sport training and exercises. For maximum comfort, the inner side of shoulder support use a comfortable material with excessive dots.

CAUTION:  for injury treatment, you are recommended to consult your doctor or physical therapist

Usage of the Gel Pack
To chill: Remove the gel pack from the support; Put it into freezer for 2 to 3 hours to maximize the cooling effect. When the gel pack becomes warm, refreeze it if you need cold therapy again.

To heat: Boil 2 – 3 quarts of water and remove it from heat; Submerge the gel pack into that hot water; Leave it for 2 to 3 minutes to absorb sufficient heat.


When to use Hot or Cold therapy?
Hot therapy is good to chronic injury and can improve the blood flow through the injury area, helping body to remove and reabsorb cellular by-products. Heat also helps soothing and reducing pain and stiffness. But NEVER apply hot therapy to an acute injury unless with the direction of a sportsmedicine professional.

Cold Therapy (Cryotherapy) can be used in the R.I.C.E. technique* for acute sport injury.

* RICE technique stands for "Rest, Ice, Compress, Elevate", is one of the most extensively used therapeutic modalities for treating and rehabilitating acute sport injuries.
