This antique doll is truly beautiful! Her face is absolutely serene!

I believe her to be an Alt Beck Gottschalck doll and would presume

her to be 100 years old. She is apprx 17 " tall. Creamy, soft complexion,

she is on a leather body with bisque arms. Her eyes do open and close

however, they tend to stick.

Her lower knee joints leak a bit and I do see a small hole.

She apparently has been repaired under/at the head attachment. See photo

of the close up of her mark. Mark is 698  #8

One arm is completely off and the other is loose. No chips, cracks

or damage to bisque that I can see.

She comes with underwear and socks and her wig.

Please ask questions before bidding. Sale will be final.

She will be packed well for shipping with her head stuffed.

She is a wonderful antique doll and should make you very happy!!

I will be out of town when this auction ends and will ship her 8/6. Please keep this in mind

when bidding.

The repair I mentioned is to the leather body under the shoulder head. It looks like

a strip of leather was possibly put there as a reinforcement. No repairs to the head itself.

 Q: could you tell me if the picture that shows the repair, is the dark one.
A: The repair on the body that I am talking about is in the 2nd photo with the mold #. Just under the shoulder plate is a piece of leather that was added at a later date. I am assuming this is a repair. thanks for asking.
