Domesday A Search for the Roots of England by Michael Wood is published Facts on File Publications new York Oxford 1988. The Domesday Book was a detailed study of the population , landownership, class structure  and economy of 11th century England made at the bequest odf William the Conqueror the Norman Duke who trimphed over England in 1066 at the battle of Hastings . This text includes illustrations in full color and black and white. The dust jacket has some smudges and general shelfware  but otherwise good interior pages also very good. The dimension is 7 1/2 x10 1/2.
