Each one of the reproducibles is a family letter and activity for children in 1st grade. The concepts covered are word analysis, fluency, vocabulary development; reading comprehension; literary response and analysis; writing strategies; writing applications; written and oral English language conventions; listening and speaking strategies. Each page has a note to the family about what is being learned in the classroom, a few short activities to complete, child's signature and parent's signature (learning partner's signature).
