Will this unit interfere with my existing wireless networking equipment or wireless phone ?

Absolutely no interference. This wireless unit prepares two set of radio frequencies. One sets uses the standard 2.4Ghz. The other set adopts frequency slightly higher than 2.4 Ghz in order to avoid electronic interference with other 2.4 Ghz wireless devices you have at home.
