About the Photography
Concert photos were taken between 1976 and 1980, and were shot exclusively at various San Francisco Bay area venues including Bill Graham's Winterland and Day on the Green. The NHRA drag racing, CART Indy Car and IMSA Camel GT photos were shot from 1976 to 1986 at Fremont Drag Strip and Laguna Seca. Nostalgia drag racing images are from 2000 to the present and were shot at Famoso Raceway in Bakersfield.

About the Prints for Sale
All prints are made from professional photographer Greg Myhra's original negatives and slides. They are scanned at high resolution and printed personally by Greg, using the highest quality archival pigment inks on top-of-the-line, heavyweight glossy paper. These professional quality digital prints have the ability to hold more detail and nuance than many traditional darkroom prints and with proper handling are as archival - if not more so. They are not cheap knock-off copies.
Greg has been involved with high-end digital printing since the late 90s and has extensively tested a wide variety of paper stocks, inks and settings to find the best possible mix. Everyone's monitor is calibrated & set up differently. This may make an image appear too light, too dark, soft or out of focus. Rest assured that this is due to individual monitors and has no bearing on what your final print will look like.

PAYMENT: Must be received within 10 days of commitment to buy. If payment is not received within 10 days after auction close, a non-paying bidder dispute will be opened, and if immediate resolution is not made, buyer may have their account closed by eBay.

What is Classic Noise? Well, besides what it says in the logo above, Greg Myhra's Classic Noise is the result of a love of things loud and visceral. It is original photography of classic rock concerts and drag racing of the 70s and a variety of road racing images from the early to mid 80s, produced directly from Greg's negatives and transparencies.
