Wildflowers Green Vase (Large)

The Smithsonian Institution is home to the largest collection of American Art.  The Smithsonian in partnership with the renowned giftware company, Goebel, is proud to present the "Wildflowers Collection."
The fine glassware is decorated with a delicate botanical motif.  It reflects the artwork of Mary Vaux Walcott found in the archives of the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C.

This piece is packaged in a Smithsonian gift box with an enclosure identifying the collection and the process of handmaking your fine piece. 

Most items of the Goebel Smithsonian collection are blown by mouth and thus unique.  Little air inclusions and unevenness do not reduce quality but verify the complex production process in craftsmanship tradition.  In order to care for the valuable real gold covering, we recommend cleaning by hand with a normal smooth washing liquid.  All glass items with real gold decorations and edges are not suitable for microwave.

Payment can be made through Paypal, either by a funded payment or an echeck.  Echecks take several days to clear the Paypal system.




Shipping price quoted is for within contiguous US.   I will combine shipping on multiple items.  If resulting combination incurs an oversize surcharge, buyer is responsible for shipping charges via UPS Ground.  I ship via UPS, USPS Priority Mail and Parcel Post and will always use best method.  Wait for your invoice to get correct shipping amount.  International buyers should inquire as to shipping charge prior to bidding.  International shipping is calculated on buyers country.

Items under 2 lbs. to destinations within the contiguous US will normally be sent  USPS  Priority mail.  If combined shipping results in the total weight going over 2 lbs., I reserve the right to switch carriers to UPS Ground.  If the buyer refuses to pay optional insurance, I also reserve the right to send the item UPS Ground so that the package is covered for damage up to $100.00.  UPS cannot be delivered to a PO Box so always furnish a street address for your shipments.  If a PO Box is the only address provided. I reserve the right to send your item USPS Priority Mail or Parcel Post which normally incurs a higher shipping charge.

I never overcharge for shipping and handling.
