This ca. 1900-1915 brass doorknocker has sinuous Art Nouveau inspired lines with stylized foliate design and measures 9” x 4” overall. The sheet brass back plate is hand worked with hand peened rivet attaching the wrought brass knocker loop. It has an old polish with some tarnish and bits of old paint on the back from its last door.
