Vintage Composition Unmarked Mama Doll 23"

This is a huge fat composition baby,
would be great to display as is or could
be redone and you would have a beautiful
doll.
Doll measures 23" tall with composition
head, arms and legs and sturdy well stuffed
body with non-working cryer in the tummy.
Doll has been repainted at some point in
time, long before I received She has molded hair with nice
clean tin eyes, open mouth with two front
teeth and a tongue. Some crazing in the
face, on the corner of her left eye and below
the chin. Two cracks under her left ear, arms
and legs both have cracks and crazing of the
composition, more on her legs than arms.
She has all her fingers and toes. This baby
weighs approximately 5 pounds so will be
very heavy to ship.
Dolls head measures 17" around just
above her ears and legs measure 10"
around at the top.
She is wearing an original one piece
onesie with pins in the back and lace around
the legs.
She is also wearing a vintage baby dress which
is very nice and also a vintage baby hat that is slightly too big.
all are clean and in good condition, ready to
display. Body shows its age and may have a slight old smell. On her feet she has pink knit booties
that hook on the top with a button like a pair
of Mary Jane Shoes.
All in all a very pretty doll.
When I received her both her legs were loose
from the top so I have glued them onto the
leg with Elmer's glue and then placed some
bandage tape around them to hold in place
which I have not yet removed and will leave
that to the new owner.
This doll would be a great piece of history
to own and love.
