Diamond is the hardest element discovered on earth so far.

It takes a great period of time and requires enormous pressure

to form such a Super Quality Gem Diamond beneath the earth

surface and needs Deep Mining bringing it out!

One of the most highly prized gemstone in the world is Diamond because of its many desirable qualities. On Moh’s hardness scale (a mineral quality used to identify and distinguish minerals) of 1 to 10 it is the only known substance to rate a perfect 10. It is the hardest substance on earth because of the unique arrangement of atoms within the mineral – they are packed closer together than any other substance. Diamond also has the highest melting point of any substance, 3820° Kelvin. It also is an excellent heat conductor and it is transparent over the widest range of wavelengths.

The qualities of a diamond that make it so highly valuable are its broad color range (there are more than just white or clear ones), high refraction, high dispersion of very low reactivity to chemicals and the rarity.

Each and every Diamond Shipped to other than European Community is passing through so called ‘Diamond Office’ which is appointed by the Belgian Government in Antwerp where the shipments are being controlled and appraised. This office is also authorized in issuing the “Kimberly Process Certificate”. This KP certificate is required for each and every Rough Diamonds leaving European territories. The certificate is a proof of the legitimacy of the Diamond that it is conflict free and is coming from the legitimate source and that it is not a Blood Diamond.
