5 1/4 by 8 inches. 64 pages, stapled booklet, New York, George H. Doran Company, I cannot find a date

PLEASE NOTE that although the title says photographs there are not any, each chapter has a small sketch at its beginning and there is a full page map of the entrance channel opposite the title page plus the cover illustration (see photo).

First 9 chapters are a personal recollection by Keble Howard followed by the British Admiralty Official Narratives of the First and Second Attacks (See photo). This is military and maritime history of the first world war WW I, i.e. The Great War.

Pages are free of marking.  Some pages have torn through the staples and cover is detached. Overall foxing and age tanning.
