1927 FAMOUS SLUGGER BABE RUTH LOU GEHRIG NY YANKEES

For your consideration is a rarely seen 1927 Famous Sluggers produced by Hillerich & Bradsbury. Babe Ruth is featured on the cover. Ruth & Lou Gehrig are also pictured in 2 other pictures. Also pictured in this 30 page soft cover publication are the following: Paul Waner, Pie Traynor, Goose Goslin, Harry Heilmann, Gordon Cochrane, Buddy Meyer, Luke Sewell, Joe Sewell, Wallie Pip, George Sisler, Max Carey, Jim Bottomley, Edd Roush, Bill Terry, Fred Schulte, Edward Farrell, Heine Manush, Frank Frisch, Gabby Hartnett and many more. The overall condition is good with staining to the bottom left hand corner. It also has some softness to the paper, wear to the spine and some minor separation at the staples. Even with some of the condition problems, it doesn't impact the tons of photos in this great publication. I think you will be very pleased to add this rare publication to your collection, as it is a definite investment piece.
