This listing is for the rare first edition of Kismet. This is the 1943 wartime Spare Time Corp. game made in Minneapolis. It is complete with board, instructions and 5 wooden dice. The lid has a couple split corners with short edge tears, price tag pulls and moderate wear throughout. The large fold up gameboard is in good shape, but the reverse side where it is attatched together is loosening somewhat and looks like it could easily be retaped to make it stay together and fold up nicely. The instructions and dice are in very good used condition, and the bottome box is pretty good with no torn corners. I have included a pic of a short list of prices from American Games showing 4 other Spare Time games of sililar vintage listed in the $125-200 range. If you seek a rare 1943 Kismet, BIN and have it fast! |
