DESCRIPTION

Beautiful hand carved and hand painted wooden rod puppet, very small. Painted head is probably a stage prop for a puppet show. Indonesian batik cloth. Probably early 20th century.




CONDITION
Excellent. Very little paint loss. One control rod missing from the puppet. A FINE AND EARLY WAYAN GOLEK PUPPET AND SCULPTURE.
