*Don't forget...EXTRA PRINTS SHIP FREE!* This sweet Victorian lass has such a sweet face, and tenderly holds a soft white dove. She gazes down at it with fond affection, and caresses it tenderly. The dove has a pink ribbon about its neck, and in her lap is a second dove. Her lovely shoulders are swathed in gossamer dress, and the scene behind her suggests an outdoor setting. The artist is Charles Joshua Chaplin, a Victorian artist famous for his lovely ladies. This painting has many names, but "The Dove" describes it grandly. Victorians loved a play on words, and "the dove" can either be the fetching lass or the bird itself. This laser print on heavy stock measures 5 x 7 inches, and will easily fit into a standard size frame. It frames up just beautifully.
