Huge Percussion Frog Indonesia Wood Block Guiro Clave

I just got in a new shipment of rare and unusual percussion items from Indonesia in limited quantities. These will not last long so please keep checking back as it will take me a week or so just to get all of them listed.

This auction is for a new large wood percussion frog rasp from Indonesia.

This great sounding frog measures about 7 inches in length by about 4 inches wide by about 4.25 inches high and is hand painted.

This frog is played by rubbing the large end of the stick (each end of the stick will produce a different sound) along its back making a great "ribbit" "cricket" sound or by tapping on its nose for a wood block, clave, temple block sound.

The large size of this frog gives it a nice low tone.

This rare instrument from Indonesia will make an excellent and fun addition to your musical collection.
