Welcome to a Digital Ostrich auction! I’m a former professional game developer who prides himself in selling working software – not pretty coasters!  That means everything I sell is unconditionally guaranteed genuine, and comes with compatibility and condition warranties. Even better, if a game requires a patch to run properly, it comes with the patch. If it needs to be installed a certain way, it comes with instructions even my mother can understand. And if you need extra help, it’s available to you free, through email.

 

This is one of my classic game setups, which allows you to play older games on modern computers. As with all my setups. it includes original software (so you own a legal license to the game), plus an easy, simple, and stable setup to allow play in XP, Vista, and Vista 64.  

WHAT IS INCLUDED:

  • An original, full retail Wing Commander: Privateer game CD. This CD contains the main game, the Speech Pack, and the Righteous Fire expansion! It will be LIGHTLY USED to FLAWLESS depending on my current stock, and will come in a new, clear CD case. I will include original insert(s) if I have them at the time.
  • A super-easy XP / Vista setup. The setup is designed for computer novices, and you do not need any technical skill to use it. There are no extra downloads or long lists of arcane instructions. 
  • Full electronic documents.
  • Quick responses to any questions you may have.

COMPATIBILITY GUARANTEE: Provided you purchased your computer new in 2005 or later, and have at least 512MB memory, I will warrant start-to-finish gameplay in any Windows XP, Vista or Vista 64 computer with sound and video quality the same as when the game was originally released. In the unlikely event that you encounter a significant technical problem, I will either fix it in a timely manner with good-faith assistance from you via email, or take the game back for a full refund.
