Breathtaking........ this charming, absolutely beautiful pure silk outfit, is designed and handmade in England. The finest dupion and embroidered silks are chosen to create this delightful, 5 piece suit.

There is no need to look anywhere else, this superb quality, comfortable, practical little suit will ensure your baby boy is dressed exquisitely on his special day.

The photo shows an all in one style romper, underneath the tailcoat. The romper has buttons all the way down the back and inside the trouser legs so they completely open. This ensures baby does not have to endure the suit being lifted over his head or removed for nappy changing!  This romper design is very practical for a younger baby, when he is cuddled the outfit stays neat and tidy, no constant "tucking in" for photos!  

 However, you do have the choice of a separate shirt, trouser, tailcoat set if preferred at no extra cost. The waistcoat is a tailcoat design, made completely from excellent quality embroidered silk, (not just on the front like some cheaper versions)! It is lined and fully removable. With pearl buttons sewn on the front and back for added detail.

The main photo shows the romper in oyster white plain  silk and the tailcoat in the white embroidered silk. You are very welcome to have the top of the romper in one colour silk and the bottom part in another. This gives the clever illusion of shirt and trousers!  I can post out any samples of fabrics if that would help. Its quite difficult to portray the true colours of these lovely silks.

The suit is complimented with a round, baker style hat with a soft, ribbed, stretchy hat band for comfort. If you did require the oliver peak style cap or the baker hat with the hat band made in embroidered silk there is an extra charge of £4.99 for either of these (photos 6 and 7). 

The padder style silk boots are also included. The tops of the boots match the embroidered silk in the tailcoat! 

The embroidered silk cravat has a pearl button added for detail.You have the choice of embroidered or plain silk. Or you can have a bow tie.

PLAIN silk colours available; pearl white, pale ivory, pale blue, champagne, victorian gold, and black.

Short or long sleeves and trouser legs are available. I have standard sizes that can be ordered. Newborn, o/3, 3/6, 6/9, 9/12, 12/18 months - but i do prefer to make to order to ensure a good fit, as every baby is different. When you place your order you will be asked to state the colours and style combination you would like and to send a few basic measurements. I can allow for growth so dont worry about that, it really does mean the suit will be a perfect fit for your son on his special day, rather than ordering a standard size.

Personalised, matching shawls/wraps, bibs and hankerchiefs are available all hand made. The arm and/or leg cuffs or sole of boots can be embroidered with babies name and date, or initials. These then make an ideal present to give back to the godparents as special keepsake!

Because we make the majority of orders individually, ideally we like 2/3 weeks notice. But please contact us with your christening date if its needed sooner, we will always help if we can.
