  This 1/6 plate daguerretype (2 5/8" by 3 1/4") still had its original seal when I acquired it.  I broke the seal to clean the very dirty glass.  Unidentified.  It came with no case, just the image, mat, glass and preserver you see here.  There are some cloudy areas on the image itself, as you can see.  Other than that, a sharp image.    
Terms:  No Buy-It-Nows, No Reserve.  Postcard shall be shipped in a rigid archival sleeve, which double-thick cardboard backing. 
Shipping is $2.00 domestically, $3.00 internationally.      

I do not try to make money on postage and 'handling'. 

I accept Paypal only.

If you are not satisfied, return within 1 week (in the same condition), and I shall give you a full refund (you pay postage). 

At the close of auction, I will send you an invoice through ebay within 48 hrs (usually right after the auction ends). 

I will promptly let you know when I receive payment, and when I will be mailing the item (usually the next day). 

I will combine winning bids to save on postage.
