THIS IS A VERY OLD ANTIQUE VICTORIAN CELLULOID BOX.
IT THINK IT MAY HAVE BEEN FROM A SHAVING MUG AND RAZOR BUT, NOT 100% SURE.

IT IS A SHABBY PIECE AS IT HAS DAMAGE.  MOSTLY TO THE TOP AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PICTURES
THERE ARE CHIPPED OFF PIECES.  THERE ARE ALSO SOME BLACK MARKS, I DID NOT TRY TO GET OFF. 
IT HAS A LOVELY PICTURE OF A VICTORIAN LADY HOLDING A LOVELY PINK ROSE WITH A BOUQUET AT HER
SIDE.  THE BOX HAS LOVELY ORNATE RAISED EDGES WITH LOVELY FLOWERS.  THE FRONT LATCH IS MISSING THE CATCH.  THE
HINGES ARE IN GOOD WORKING ORDER.  THE SIDES OF THE BOX ARE IN VERY NICE CONDITION. 
THEY ARE SHINEY WITH AN OLIVE COLOR WITH GOLD DESIGN AND LOVELY FUGI GREY & WHITE MUMS. 
THE BOTTOM IS OLD PAPER AND HAS SOME WRITING ON IT IN PENCIL,
THERE IS ALSO A SMALL PLACE WHERE THE PAPER WAS TORN, LOOKS LIKE MAYBE A TAG WAS THERE. 
THE INSIDE HAS A LIGHT GREEN FABRIC.  THERE IS A PLACE WHERE I THINK THE CUP SAT AND 
THERE IS A METAL CLIP THAT MAY HAVE HELD THE RAZOR.  IT IS NOT IN TOO BAD A SHAPE, SOME FRAYING.
THERE IS NO ODOR INSIDE.

THE BOX MEASURES 7 1/2" X 6 3/4" X 3 1/4".
A GREAT PIECE FOR
THE SHABBY AT HEART.  NICE DISPLAY.
