CHESS SET

Up for auction is a pre-owned Franklin Mint GUARDIANS OF THE FORTRESS Chess Set.  There are 32 sculptured pewter chess pieces.  The chess board measures 13 1/4" x 13 1/4" and the chess pieces measure 1 3/8" to 3 1/4".  The chess board and the chess pieces are perfect and the board fits in the fortress.  The size of 19 3/4" x 19 3/4" and the height is 7 1/2".  There are two pieces broken off the fortress, one is present and the other one is missing.  Designed by Michael Whelan.
