This listing is for two silverplate cold meat serving forks in the 1940 Lady Betty Pattern by the International Silver Co. This graceful and understated pattern shows flowing ridge work and small designs on each side of the flaring handle. Because of its simplicity, you could use these serving pieces with just about any flared handle pattern.
These two serving forks polished up beautifully, with just a little silver loss in the bowl of one fork, and the other one near perfect. There are normal, faint surface scratches, better than average at almost 70 years of age. Each fork is 7-7/8" long, and they're backstamped, "LADY BETTY SILVERPLATE." These forks list for about $20 each at the silver replacement services, so a $40 value, here at tiny eBay prices!
