RARE VICTORIAN SILVER PLATE SERVING BASKET ASPARAGUS ?

NOT SEEN ANOTHER QUITE LIKE THIS FORM ~NO RESERVES EVER

This is a fabulous Victorian Silver Plate serving basket, that you could use for so many things, but I could just picture it filled with steaming Asparagus, and your friends would sure to be super impressed. The tray measures approx. 8-1/2" long x 5-3/4" wide x 7" high to top of handle, and is done in a very unique vine and flower/leaf design with a pie crust crimped rim. It is marked Lexington S.P. Company, Quadruple Plate, dating to the late 1800's and shows from age use, wear to the base metal, mainly on feet. This would also be perfect filled with truffles on the front counter of a chocolate store or would make a wonderful dish filled with guest soap in an elegant bathroom. This is part of a huge estate we are handling, really one of the finest we have had in years, so be sure to Click here to see many more antiques and decorative arts. I am sure this would sell for a handsome price at any antique show or shop, but with my low opening bid and NO RESERVE someone could score a huge bargain !!
