This listing features stunning reproduction wallpaper that is now no longer in production. The design was adapted from original stencil artwork of Moses Eaton Jr., circa 1820s.

The third photo of an installation of this wallpaper depicts two strips of the wallpaper.

The fourth photo illustrates an original, historical stencilled wall created by Moses Eaton Jr. in the 1820s, and is NOT included in this offering.

REFERENCE:

Little, Nina Fletcher. American Decorative Wall Painting 1700-1850. New York: E. P. Dutton & Co., 1972. Page 103, Illustrated Fig. 116.  This pattern is closely related to a stencilled wall in the David Thompson House in West Kennebunk, Maine. The Room's decor was executed circa 1820s by Moses Eaton Jr. (1796-1886), the legendary itinerant Painter.

SPECS:

The wallpaper is packaged in double roll bolts. Each double roll bolt is 24 inches wide and 12 yards in length. Each double roll bolt would cover approximately 60 square feet.  The design has a 25 inch vertical pattern repeat and is a drop match. The wallpaper is pre-trimmed and un-pasted.  All of my inventory is new-pristine condition, factory-sealed rolls, all from the same dye lot.
