Sphalerite fluorescent mineral Sterling Hill Mine, near Franklin NJ. Small hand-sized specimen with sparkling sphalerite blebs throughout. Matrix includes willemite, calcite, and franklinite. Fluoresces green and orange in short wave UV light, and in long wave its bright orange, with orange phosphorescence.

Small cabinet specimen measures 3 ¾ inches x 2 ¾ x 1 ¾ inches, weighs 1 pound 3 ounces.

For auction with no reserve. Payment by PayPal only. Shipping in the U.S. Priority Mail, calculated by Ebay. I’m always happy to combine shipping costs on multiple items using the flat rate box for $9.35. Pennsylvania residents must add 6% sales tax before shipping cost.
