    You are looking at tiles that are made by Sporck Tileart.  Sporck Tileart is located in Suttons Bay, Michigan.  Leif Sporck is the tile maker who makes these tiles.  All designs are hand carved by Leif.  He uses plater molds and reproduces the designs that he has made.  Sporck Tileart uses glazes that have been mixed from scratch.  All glazes are secret recipes. 

   Leif Sporck Learned how to make ceramic tiles from his parents.  Both of Leif parents have master degrees in Fine Arts and education from Michigan State University.   Leif’s father is an accomplished potter and ceramics instructor.  Leif’s father has been working with clay for over 40 years.  Leif’s mother is a carrier working woman and oil paints on her leisure time.  This is how Leif learner how to make tiles.

All tiles come with hangers.  These tiles are completely weather resistant and can be used in tile installations.
