Gown Hat Civil War Southern Belle Homecoming Prom

 Available for auction is a very lovely Gown in a salmon or some call it deep peach color gown by Jessica McClintock/Gunne Sax. Wonderful gown for Homecoming, Prom, Civil War or Southern Belle Reenactment Balls.  It comes with a coordinating hat.  The gown has a rounded front and back neckline, 1/2 inch shoulder straps, and the bodice of the gown is boned to keep it's shape and show off yours.  The skirt portion of the gown flows beautifully to full length.  I have the gown shown over a 3 bone hoop, not included in the auction.  The gown has it's own self attached net crinoline.  It closes down the center back with a 16 inch zipper. The bodice of the gown is lined.  The tag reads 100% acetate,but feels and looks like a very quality satin fabric.  The gown comes with a coordinating peach straw type weaved hat ( strong weave, not a floopy straw weave) that has a 2 1/4 inch wide band around it and a beautiful large bow at the center back.  The band and the bow has a design made into the fabric, very classy outfit. The tag reads size 5/6, but here are the measurements.  Bust 30-31, Waist is 30 and hips are free.  It measures 53 1/2 inches long from the top of the shoulder strap to the hemline.  The gown is in beautiful condition, however, will need a cleaning, as it has some dust marks on the bottom from probably gliding across the dance floor,  They are not that bad and with the fullness, you might not even see them, so I leave the cleaning up to the successful bidder.  A steal of a price for this lovely gown and hat.
