Lot of FIFTEEN vintage matchbooks of well-known Los Angeles Restaurants.  Most of these restaurants are long gone.  In xln't condition, no strikes & all matches in tact.

LUAU - Located in the heart of Beverly Hills, this was the watering hole for the movers and shakers, as well as stars & celebrities in the mid-sixties.  There are many a tale to be told of this famous restaurant !!

Au Petit Jean/Beverly Hills (this one is a matchbox) ~ Room At The Top, located atop the Sunset-Vine Tower in Hollywood.  You could see for miles around at this restaurant & the view was spectacular at night!   ~ The Tan O'Shanter Inn/LA  ~ Zucky's Restaurant/Deli/Santa Monica ~ Edna Earle's Fog Cutter/Hollywood.  An elegant restaurant serving the best of the best to Hollywood elite  ~  Sheri's/LA/Hollywood/Inglewood  ~  Carriage House/Burbank, situated across from NBC Studios where you could often dine next to Johnny Carson and studio execs. 

Bob's Big Boy-An LA 'hangout' for teenagers beginning in the forties. If you didn't go there, you were square !!  ~ Moskva Cliff, The Valley, serving Russian Food, rare in it's day !  ~  Fish Shanty/West Hollywood, serving the best seafood in town !!  ~ Van De Kamp's Coffe Shop  ~  Tick Tock/Hollywood  ~  Clifton's Cafeteria ~ Michael's, an upscale restaurant in Los Angeles...this was the place to meet and greet !!
