4 genuine 1964 theatre release publicity*  8x10" photos from the musical classic

Starring AUDREY HEPBURN and REX HARRISON

My Fair Lady

 *There were two kinds of 8x10" photos produced for movies up until the 1990s: "Front-of-house" (FOH) or "publicity." FOH photos were used by the theatres in poster display cases to enhance the impact of posters. Publicity photos were sent to newspaper critics and columnists for placing on the large motion picture pages of newspapers of the time.  

These b/w photos were issued by Warner Bros. publicity department for the 1964 release. They are un-numbed but have a scene-specific caption beneath each one. Descriptions:

  • One vertical shows Harrison & Hepburn as he first encounters Eliza selling flowers in the market. 
  • One horizontal shows the professor (Harrison) and Eliza (Hepburn) after the ball.
  • One vertical is a head shot of Stanley Holloway as Alred Doolittle
  • One horizontal shows Mr. Doolittle (Holloway) in the "Get Me to the Church on Time" scene.
