A BIT OF HISTORY~~In France, England, Belgium and across Europe, these
shelves were originally used as a “kitchen shelf” with copper pots and pans being
hung from the hooks. In today’s home or office, decorators are using
these statement pieces in ANY room, with collectibles or home décor on the top
shelf, perhaps towel storage in a guest bathroom, as a foyer or hall piece with
coats and canes hung on the hooks….ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES!!
