BEACH BOYS The Little Girl I Once Knew UK demo rare OG

Up for auction is a UK copy of The Beach Boys “The Little Girl I Once Knew”, backed with “There’s No Other (Like My Baby)”, released in 1965 on Capitol, cat no CL 15425. This is an a-label demo copy. One of the few non-LP a-sides of the Beach Boys’ career, this was a real pointer towards the direction Brian was heading with Pet Sounds & beyond, and still sounds ahead of its time.

Condition: sadly (as with many demos), the centre hole has been punched out. There are one of two minor marks on either side of the vinyl, but nothing too serious. Apart from the centre hole’s absence, the labels are very clean, with only minor rubbing. Overall VG+.

My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor). I never use mint as a grade for used records. I am a long-time (25+ years!) record collector, and play-grade where possible. My feedback from buyers indicates I normally undergrade in listings.
